On the morning of August 29, the first list of Top 10 Cases of Collaborative Innovation by Shanghai-based Foreign-Invested Enterprises was announced at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Pujiang Innovation Forum – Global Tech-Matching Fair (InnoMatch EXPO). The Form is part of the “Foreign Invested R&D Centers in Shanghai” series premiered by STCSM in 2017. Through nearly 30 policy presentations, business matchmaking fairs, and thematic salons with over 1,000 participants, this series has helped foreign-invested enterprises better understand sci-tech innovation policies and plans, thus advancing collaborative innovation among the industry, universities, and research institutes. Furthermore, to better guide foreign-invested enterprises for high-level collaborative innovation with local institutions and to commend foreign-invested R&D centers involved deeply in building Shanghai into a sci-tech innovation center, a campaign was rolled out in 2021 to solicit collaborative innovation cases from them.
